Hello! My name is Mrs. Christensen and I am SO excited to be your teacher this year!
This year marks my fifth year teaching at Saint Stephen the Martyr School. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in December 2009, and have been working at SSM ever since. I can honestly say that I love my job! I LOVE to teach and to work with children every day!
When I am not working, I love to spend my time with my family and friends. I have been happily married to my husband, Greg, for 4 years now. We welcomed our first baby, Dominic James, this summer. Needless to say we are head over heels in love with this kid! :) We also have a German shepherd dog named Nero, whom we absolutely adore! ALSO, since I LOVE animals and I LOVE to teach, one of my favorite pastimes is teaching Nero new tricks. A few of my favorite tricks that I've taught him are: bringing me a bottle of water from the refrigerator, saying his prayers, and waving to people. He literally is the teacher’s pet! ;)
My other hobbies include health and fitness (especially Zumba) and arts & crafts. All in all I would say I have a pretty busy and active life and I love every moment of it!
